Highlights: GLAUCOUS GULL, NASHVILLE WARBLER, AMERICAN REDSTART,
HARRIS'S SPARROW, SWAMP SPARROW.

San Francisco Co.

On Dec 2, a 1st winter GLAUCOUS GULL was being seen on the rocks
below at the observation desk at the Cliff House. (Joe Morlan)

On Dec 1, a female AMERICAN REDSTART was found at the south end of
Lake Merced. The bird was in the willows on the west shore of the
lake near the end of the concrete bridge. On Nov 30, a
NASHVILLE WARBLER was in the flowering albizzias at Fort Funston
across the highway from the west end of John Muir Drive.

San Mateo Co.

On Dec 2, the HARRIS'S SPARROW and SWAMP SPARROW continues at
Coyote Point. The HARRIS'S SPARROW was at the corner of the marsh
along the public access trail south of the parking lot to the
Coyote Pt. Yacht Club. The SWAMP SPARROW was in the weeds below
the two transmission towers in the field. (Calvin D Lou)

On Nov 30, there were (2) SWAMP SPARROWS at Coyote Pt. Both
were seen around the same time that day. One on the west side
of the P.G.E. substation in a drainage ditch well west of where
Dave Ouady had one in the drainage ditch, where the Harris's Sparrow
was seen by both of us that afternoon. (Ron Thorn)
