Sunday, September 11

Ann Hines reported that Betty Rickman called her this evening to report an immature
SABINE'S GULL at EKW (Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park). Ann traveled to EKW and
was able to relocate the bird. To get to EKW: From Interstate Highway 25, turn north
at exit 182. Travel approximately 0.5 mile to Highway 20-26, turn right and travel
east for approximately 2.2 miles to park entrance. A small day-use fee is charged.

Also this evening Jean Adams reported a possible Archilochus type hummingbird. The
bird reported as a Black-chinned Hummingbird was seen at her feeders in Sundance,
WY. Either species, Black-chinned or Ruby-throated would be extremely rare in this
area. Jean will keep us posted of any further sightings of this bird. (Sundance,
Crook County)

Sunday, September 9

Bob and Suzanne Hargis reported having RED-EYED VIREO and 3 YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT's
moving through their yard in Riverton on the 9th. They also reported Greater and
Lesser Yellowlegs along the river (WIND RIVER) in the same area. (Riverton, Fremont
County)
