Carmel:
This afternoon a first fall male TENNESSEE WARBLER was seen right under
the Highway One bridge across the Carmel River. [Steve Rovell]
The AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER was seen again this morning on the beach
south of the Carmel River mouth. [Cindy Leurance]
Moss Landing:
The Elkhorn Slough Safari trip today reported over 40 species of birds
including one RED KNOT, WANDERING TATTLER,PEREGRINE FALCON and an
OSPREY. [Captain Yohn Gideon]
Yesterday, the LAUGHING GULL was seen in the pond just to the left of
the parking area at Moon Glow Dairy. [Cindy Leurance]
Santa Cruz:
The CRESTED CARACARA was seen this afternoon in the area of Swanton Road
and Highway One. [Cindy Leurance]
