In a Hampton Township backyard on 11/20, a flock of flyover TUNDRA SWANS
were heard overhead (RN).

At North Park Lake on 11/21, 5 BUFFLEHEADS, 1 NORTHERN SHOVELER (BV); on
11/26 in North Park 1 female RUDDY DUCK (MF).

On 11/21 at Marshall Lake, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 1 Northern Mockingbird (BV).

In an unspecified backyard location on 11/21, 100 flyover TUNDRA SWANS were
heard (GM).

On 11/22 in Squirrel Hill, 1 Red-shouldered Hawk (KSJ).

At Dashield's Dam on 11/23, 1 adult RED-THROATED LOON, 2 Wood Ducks, 2
Turkey Vultures (MV).

On 11/25 and 11/26 at the Squaw Run wetlands/inlet in O'Hara Township, 1
RED-THROATED LOON (reported to MF by Jim Valimont (11/25), reported to DY by
Dave Wilton, GM (11/26)).

In the Imperial area on 11/26, sightings included NORTHERN HARRIER, 2
Eastern Meadowlarks, 1 light-phase ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK (reported to MF by Jim
Valimont).

At the Moody Road ponds on 11/25 and 11/26, 1 GREEN-WINGED TEAL (MV (11/25)
and reported to MF by Jim Valimont (11/26)).

In Youthtowne on 11/25, 4 American Black Ducks (MV).

Along Cork-Bocktown Road on 11/25 in Clinton, Horned Larks (MV).


BEAVER COUNTY:

On 11/19 at the Big Beaver Wetlands, 1 TRUMPETER SWAN, 2 Wood Ducks (MV).

At the Three Rivers gravel ponds on 11/19, 2 LESSER SCAUP, 8 RING-NECKED
DUCKS, 2 Hooded Mergansers (MV).


BUTLER COUNTY:

On 11/26 at Moraine State Park, 9 BONAPARTE'S GULLS, many Pied-billed
Grebes, RUDDY DUCKS, American Coots (DY).


CLARION COUNTY:

Along Route 68 between Rimersburg and East Brady on 11/22, 1 circling adult
BALD EAGLE (CW).

On 11/24 at Kahle Lake, sightings included 2 REDHEADS, 1 female LONG-TAILED
DUCK, 52 RUDDY DUCKS; on 11/26, 56 RUDDY DUCKS, 6 BUFFLEHEADS, 3 COMMON
MERGANSERS, 1 adult BALD EAGLE (MB).


CRAWFORD COUNTY:

On 11/26 at Conneaut Lake, 6 Common Loons, 2 BUFFLEHEADS (MV).

In Pymatuning on 11/26, 7 BALD EAGLES; also 1 SANDHILL CRANE flew over Ford
Island (MV). At Miller's Ponds on 11/26, 7 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 1 BUFFLEHEAD,
5 Hooded Mergansers, 31 GADWALL, 7 American Black Ducks, 1 NORTHERN
SHOVELER, 5 LESSER SCAUP, 1 NORTHERN HARRIER (MV). At the Spillway on 11/26,
5 Common Loons (MV). At the Fish Hatchery on 11/26, 2 Pied-billed Grebes, 20
NORTHERN SHOVELERS, 13 GADWALL, 11 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 10 BUFFLEHEADS, 30-40
COMMON MERGANSERS (MV). On 11/26 at the Propagation area viewed from Ford
Island, Hooded Mergansers, COMMON MERGANSERS, 45-50 BONAPARTE'S GULLS, 5
BUFFLEHEADS (MV).

At the Game Commission pond on Hartstown Road on 11/26, 49 GADWALL, 13
AMERICAN WIGEON, 4 RING-NECKED DUCKS, 13 Hooded Mergansers, 6 COMMON
MERGANSERS, 2 American Black Ducks (MV).


ERIE COUNTY:

At Presque Isle State Park on the morning of 11/20, a PURPLE SANDPIPER was
seen in the breakwater east of Sunset Point, with 2 DUNLINS (RS); also that
morning, a waterbird count at Sunset Point included 15 TUNDRA SWANS, 4
American Black Ducks, 50 NORTHERN PINTAILS, 15 REDHEADS, 23 GREATER SCAUP,
331 LESSER SCAUP, 215 unidentified Scaup, 20 SURF SCOTERS, 8 WHITE-WINGED
SCOTERS, 40 SURF/BLACK SCOTERS, 51 LONG-TAILED DUCKS, 40 BUFFLEHEADS, 23
COMMON GOLDENEYES, 8 Hooded Mergansers, 1,131 RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS, 36
RED-THROATED LOONS, 18 Common Loons, 23 unidentified Loons, 1 HORNED GREBE,
20 SNOW BUNTINGS; on 11/21, 1 unidentified small goose, 4 TUNDRA SWANS,
GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 6 REDHEADS, 20 RING-NECKED DUCKS, 51 LESSER SCAUP, 117

Ducks, 2 NORTHERN PINTAILS, 3 REDHEADS, 1 RING-NECKED DUCK, 1 GREATER SCAUP,
10 LESSER SCAUP, 10 unidentified Scaup, 10 WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS, 1 BLACK
SCOTER, 3 BUFFLEHEADS, 4 COMMON GOLDENEYES, 1 Hooded Merganser, 4 COMMON
MERGANSERS, 1,208 RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS, 6 RED-THROATED LOONS, 2 Common
Loons, 5 HORNED GREBES (JM). On 11/25 at Gull Point a NORTHERN SHRIKE and 2
SNOW BUNTINGS were seen (JM).


INDIANA COUNTY:

At Yellow Creek State Park on 11/21, 5 RED-THROATED LOONS (MH).

Through 11/12 at the Seward power station, one ROSS'S GOOSE remains present
with Canada Geese (TR).


LAWRENCE COUNTY:

On 11/19 at the Three Rivers gravel ponds, sightings included NORTHERN
PINTAILS, American Coots, GREEN-WINGED TEAL, RING-NECKED DUCKS, RUDDY DUCKS
(MV).

In Rochester on the river on 11/19, 65 Ring-billed Gulls (MV).

On 11/26 at the Route 108 sand/gravel Company, 1 NORTHERN SHRIKE (DY).

On 11/26 at Golf Course Road in Plain Grove Township, 1 NORTHERN SHRIKE, 2
BALD EAGLES, 220 Horned Larks (DY).

Along Bonanni Road on 11/26, 2 SANDHILL CRANES (DY).

At the Volant Strips on 11/26, 1 NORTHERN HARRIER (DY).


MERCER COUNTY:

At Shenango Reservoir on 11/26, 1 DUNLIN, 1 Common Loon, 1 RED-BREASTED
MERGANSER, 12 COMMON MERGANSERS, 8 Hooded Mergansers, 1 RUDDY DUCK, ~125
BONAPARTE'S GULLS (MV).

WASHINGTON COUNTY:

On 11/19 at Canonsburg Lake, sightings included 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers (RG).

On 11/19 at Boone Reservoir, 2 Pied-billed Grebes (RG).

At Peter's Lake on 11/19, 1 Common Loon (RG).

At Washington Cemetery on 11/19, Red-breasted Nuthatch, 2 NORTHERN PINTAILS,
1 GREEN-WINGED TEAL (RG).

On 11/19 at Reservoir #4, 10 RING-NECKED DUCKS, 1 Pied-billed Grebe (RG).

On 11/19 at Greencove Wetlands, sightings included 1 Ring-necked Pheasant, 5
Northern Mockingbirds, 50 White-crowned Sparrows, White-throated Sparrow,
10-15 SWAMP SPARROWS, 30 AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS, 25-30 FOX SPARROWS; in
other parts of State Gamelands #232, 15 FOX SPARROWS (RG).

On 11/20 in Coal Center on the Monongahela River, 2 RED-NECKED GREBES were
seen briefly in the afternoon, floating and diving (AT).

At the Hahn Road AMD pond on 11/20, sightings included 1 American Coot, 3
American Black Ducks (MV).

Through 11/24 at a home in McDonald, an adult female RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD
continues to visit a feeder since mid-October (GM and others, RG, MV, MF);
also heard there on 11/21 were 12+ flyover TUNDRA SWANS (GM).

On 11/24 along Donaldson Road in Robinson Township, 4 SHORT-EARED OWLS, 2
NORTHERN HARRIERS (MV).


WESTMORELAND COUNTY:

In Stahlstown 11/20, a flock of flyover TUNDRA SWANS were heard in the
evening; on 11/21, 1 flyover adult BALD EAGLE was seen from Old Distillery
Road; on 11/24, 1 GOLDEN EAGLE was seen circling over a Stahlstown backyard
(LH).
