AMERICAN DIPPER, PALM WARBLER.
Mendocino Co.

On Dec 12, (2) ROCK SANDPIPERS were found this morning just south
of the Ward Ave coastal Access. The sandpipers on the rocks with
Surfbirds and Black Turnstones. Ward Ave is off Hwy 1, a short block
north of the Purple Rose restaurant. Drive on Ward to the ocean
(it curves southwest after a few blocks). As many as (12) BLACK SCOTERS
and (5) HARLEQUIN DUCKS have also been in the area. (Toby Tobkin)

On Dec 12, an AMERICAN DIPPER was under the Shafter Bridge along
Lagunitas Creek just west of the town of Lagunitas. (Michael Stevenson)

On Dec 13, the female TUFTED DUCK was seen in the big lagoon along
Mindinao Street, off of Shearwater Parkway in Redwood Shores.
A PALM WARBLER was around the water tank near the pond behind the
Nob Hill Market in Redwood Shores. (Ron Thorn)
Alameda Co.

On Dec 13, the PALM WARBLER was seen about mid-day by the bandstand
at Lake Merritt. The bird was seen at the base of the fence by the
big oak, on the slope, near the cyclone fence with the slacks on it,
and in the small maintenance yard. (Jean Richmond)
