S Albany & N Greene Counties 11/16: 33 species including: at Stanton Pond:
Great Blue Heron, 4 Gadwall, 100+ American Wigeon, Northern Pintail, 5
Green-winged Teal, 4 Common Mergansers and Belted Kingfisher; at Coxsackie
Reservoir: 5 Bufflehead and ~100 Ruddy Ducks; at Coxsackie Flats: Northern
Harrier, Killdeer, and 6 EASTERN MEADOWLARKS; also Cooper's Hawk, 12
Red-tailed Hawks, 3 American Kestrels, Wild Turkey, and Eastern Bluebird.
Meadowdale 11/17: A late TREE SWALLOW.
Tomhannock Reservoir 11/18: 3 Common Loons, Ring-necked Duck, numerous
Common Goldeneye, BARROW'S GOLDENEYE, Hooded Merganser, Common Merganser,
Ruddy Duck, 2 Bald Eagles, and Cooper's Hawk.
Vischer Ferry NHP 11/18: 2 American Wigeon, American Black Duck,
Green-winged Teal, TREE SWALLOW, Eastern Bluebird, and White-throated Sparrow.
New Salem 11/18: 2 Great Horned Owls.
Tomhannock Reservoir 11/19: RED-THROATED LOON, 8 Common Loons,
Double-crested Cormorant, Snow Goose, Common Goldeneye, BARROW'S GOLDENEYE,
Hooded Merganser, Common Merganser, Ruddy Duck, 3 Bald Eagles,
Sharp-shinned Hawk and Belted Kingfisher.
Stanton Pond 11/19: Gadwall, Northern Pintail, and Green-winged Teal
Coxsackie Reservoir 11/19: Bufflehead.
Coxsackie Flats 11/19: Northern Harrier.
Greene Co. IDA Grasslands 11/19: 7 Horned Larks and Red-winged Blackbird.
Schenectady 11/19: Northern Mockingbird.
New Salem 11/19: Great Blue Heron, Northern Harrier, Sharp-shinned Hawk,
Red-bellied Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Eastern Phoebe, Winter Wren,
and Eastern Bluebird.
Vischer Ferry NHP 11/20: 2 Pied-billed Grebes, Great Blue Heron, 4 Gadwall,
33 American Wigeon, 48 American Black Duck, 7 Green-winged Teal, 3
Ring-necked Ducks, 1 Black Scoter, 1 Long-tailed Duck, Red-tailed Hawk,
Red-bellied Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Carolina Wren, Winter Wren, 5
Eastern Bluebirds and Swamp Sparrow.
