Sightings for Thursday, September 08th– 20:15 PM update
Featured birds are: Red Knot, Barn Owl and Yellow-breasted Chat!
Sept 04th: A moulting adult Red Knot was seen on the mudflats from Narcisse
Street in Salmon. It was noticed that this bird seemed to be associating
most closely with 7 juv Black-bellied Plovers (DC)
Sept 05th: A Juv Yellow-breasted Chat was located at the southend of the
Michael Brook marsh in Kelowna. (RT)
Sept 06th: A Barn Owl was seen at the Banding Station at Vaseux Lake. It
flushed from the bushes near the banding hut and flew across the marsh.
