Ornithological Society. This update is current as of December 20, 2006
at 11:00 AM EDT. This is a summary of the sightings posted at
http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm , with additional information on the
location and/or dates of the rare and unusual. The highlights of this
update are:



We have had a much welcomed guest since Saturday the 16th. A SABINE'S
GULL as been viewed in the Honker's Bay area in the Land -Between-The
Lakes. It was last viewed Wednesday morning. I don't have a site for
video that was taken.



A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at Barkley Dam on Friday. 2 MUTE
SWANS were observed along Hwy 1369 near Cedar Creek Lake in Lincoln
County in a farm pond. A dark morph western RED-TAILED HAWK was seen in
Pulaski County near Mt Zion on Sunday. And a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD has been
visiting a feeder in Louisville.
