Tennessee Warbler
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Northern Waterthrush
Northern Parula
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler

Pacific Grove:

This afternoon there was a TENNESSEE WARBLER in a large mixed flock near
the corner of Esplanade and Beacon. RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES were
calling in the Esplanade itself. [Blake Matheson]

Carmel:

The team from BSOL banded a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH at the Carmel River
today. [Mike Tyner] This bird was refound later in the day up stream
from the banding lanes. A NORTHERN PARULA was seen in the area of the
cut over upstream from the green pipe. A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER is
upstream of the pipe and a BLACKPOLL WARBLER was downstream near the net
lanes. [Mike Tyner]

Big Sur:

Early dates for banding birds were set today at Andrew Molera State Park
with the first HERMIT THRUSH, GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW today and a FOX
SPARROW last week. [Mike Tyner]
