Marin Co.

On Dec 28 ,a male HOODED MERGANSER and male EURASIAN WIGEON were
at the Rush Creek Marsh in Novato. From Hwy 101, take the
Atherton Ave exit, east, turn immediate north towards Knox Field
on the frontage road, go about 3/4 of a mile. The Hooded Merganser
was near the road, while the Eurasian Wigeon was on the far side
of the marsh. (Gary Fellers)

Monterey Co.

On Dec 28, a BROWN BOOBY was seen at the end of the Coast Guard
jetty public access in Monterey today at about 3pm. It was on
the rocky part of the jetty. (2) RED-NECKED GREBES were seen from the
Best Western Beach Resort Hotel near Seaside. A RHINOCEROS
AUKLET was at the entrance to Fisherman's Wharf. A HARLEQUIN DUCK was at
the end of the Fisherman's Wharf, close to the Coast Guard Jetty.
Another RHINOCEROS AUKLET and MARBLED MURRELET were seen on the
ocean side of the jetty. (Dave Weber)
