Highlights: EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL, GLAUCOUS GULL,
SLATY-BACKED GULL, SNOWY OWL, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH.
Solano Co.

On Jan 4-5, the SNOWY OWL was seen around noon on piling along the
shore of Grizzly Bay. There is no land access. It may be best to take
a boat out. Contact Capt. Dan Thiemann. (916-289-8375). On Friday, there
is a boat at 1000am, Saturday and Sunday at Noon. (Daryl Coldren)

On Jan 5, a EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL was seen at Pescadero Marsh.

On Jan 5, a GLAUCOUS GULL and adult SLATY-BACKED GULL were seen
in the gull flock at the mouth of Pilarcitos Creek at Venice
State Beach in Half Moon Bay. (Al Jaramillo)

On Jan 5, the NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH continues at Lily Pond in Golden Gate
Park. (Juan-Carlos Solis)
Lily Pond in just south of Conservatory of Flowers across JFK.
But south of JFK Drive. on the link below this is a map of GGP,
Lily Pond is near #27 but on the north side of the road.
There is a paved path which leads to the pond. The path eventually
ends up on JFK Drive, opposite the Conservatory.
