On Jan 10, the SNOWY OWL was seen again along the shore of Grizzly Bay
by boat. There is no land access. Contact Capt. Dan Thiemann.
(916-289-8375). He plans to have a trip on Thursday at 800am,
Friday at 800am and Saturday at 830am. (Daryl Coldren)

On Jan 10, (2) MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS and a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK were observed
today by Kathy Francone and reporter at the Las Gallinas Sewage Ponds.
The bluebirds were far out in the fields to the west of the boundary
between ponds 1 and 2. The hawk was on the linear agricultural
sprinklers northwest of the northernmost pond. (Nick Whelan)
On Jan 9, a EURASIAN WIGEON was at the Rush Creek Preserve, north
of Novato along Hwy 101. Take the Atherton Ave exit, right,
then left into parking area. (Lang Stevenson)

On jan 10, a 1st cycle VEGA GULL and a 1st cycle GLAUCOUS GULL were
seen in the gull flock at Venice State Beach in Half Moon Bay.
