Today at Arbor Park near Los Alamitos, an adult female VERMILION FLYCATCHER
was found.

On private property in Laguna Beach, a wintering BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK put
in another visit at a backyard feeder on Tuesday.

A RHINOCEROS AUKLET was found beached yesterday in Laguna Beach but did not
survive.

At Bolsa Chica Preserve last weekend 3 BRANT and two REDDISH EGRET were
seen.

At Huntington Central Park the continuing AMERICAN REDSTART was reported on
Monday just southeast of the Slater St parking lot.

Another wintering American Redstart continued along the bike trail near the
Orange/Olive RR tracks by the Santa Ana River last Saturday. Upstream
around the Santa Ana River Lakes, over 400 WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS were
reported.

Last Saturday at Tri-City Park in Placentia, a TENNESSEE WARBLER was seen
feeding on the red-flowering eucs on the south side of the park.

Last Saturday on private property (see last week's RBA for directions), the
WORM-EATING WARBLER was refound.

The Pelagic Boat trip out of Dana Point Harbor found two BLACK
OYSTERCATCHERS on the outside of the outer jetty, and an adult female BROWN
BOOBY about 1 hour into the voyage.

Two LEWIS' WOODPECKERS continue to show at the end of Black Star Canyon by
the forest gate.
