Highlights: COOK'S PETREL, DICKCISSEL, RED-EYED VIREO,
AMERICAN REDSTART, BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH,
CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, BLACKPOLL WARBLER, PRAIRIE WARBLER,
HOODED WARBLER, ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK, GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE.
Pelagic Trip from Bodega Bay

On Sept 16, a COOK'S PETREL was seen several times during the day on
a pelagic trip out of Boedga Bay, about 20 miles from shore.

On Sept 16, an immature male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen with
several Black-headed Grosbeaks in the ornamental trees bewteen the
Coyote Point Yacht Club and the golf course. Other birds seen around
Coyte Point incuded Yellow Warbler, Willow Flycatcher, Pacific-sloped
Flycatcher and Warbling Vireo. (Al DeMartini)

On Sept 16, at Kobbe and Upton in the Presidio, the DICKCISSEL was found
on the lawn on Pope Street. Other bird seen include Willow Flycatcher,
Pacific-Sloped Flycatcher, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Acorn Woodpecker and
Lincoln's Sparrow. (Jennifer Rycenga)

On Sept 16, the ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS and HOODED WARBLER continue
at the Nunes Ranch. (2) AMERICAN REDSTARTS ,a BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER,
GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE, (4) Pine Siskin, and a Rufuos Hummingbird
were seen at the Fish Docks. The towhee was hopping around the water
trough. At the Mendoza Ranch, (2) CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLERS and a
BLACKPOLL WARBLER were present. (Ryan Terrill)

On Sept 16, A RED-EYED VIREO was seen in the back right corner at
the Hole-in-the-Head in Bodega Bay. The NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was heard

On Sept 16, an immature CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER
and American Pipit were found at Russian Gulch, north of the Russian
River. At Campbell Cove, the previously reported RED-EYED VIREO was
re-found in the afternoon along the NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, immature
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK,Lazuli Bunting, immature Bullock's Oriole,
immature BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, AMERICAN REDSTART and MERLIN.
The immature PRAIRIE WARBLER continues in the pines to the entrance
to Owl Canyon. And the AMERICAN REDSTART continues at the Bodega Bay
Marine Lab residence housing trees. (Dan Nelson)
