Red-tailed Hawk dark morph
Pacific Grove:
Saturday morning an early GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW returned to a private
yard on Seaview Avenue. [Alan Baldridge]
Carmel:
A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was seen in the area of the cut over this
morning. The male HOODED WARBLER was heard on the southside of the
river in the general area of the green pipe and then faded back towards
the water treatment plant. [Don Roberson]
A NASHVILLE WARBLER was seen right at the green pipe and a WESTERN
TANAGER was also in the area. A WESTERN WOOD PEWEE was seen again today
downstream below the bend in the river. A NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was seen
near the Highway One bridge and an early RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET was just
downstream from there. [Steve Rovell] The Waterthrush was later seen to

Moss Landing:
2 CLAY-COLORED SPARROW were seen along the entrance road to the Moss
Landing Marine Labs today. [Rick Fournier]
Big Sur:
A dark morph RED-TAILED HAWK was seen flying over the Little Sur Today.
