On Feb 19, the immature NORTHERN SHRIKE was perched on the telephone
wires over the 1st slough on Cook Lane, just south of the intersection
of Hwy 113 and Hastings Road. (120+) MOUNTAIN PLOVER were on the north
side of Robinson Road, along the east-west part, just north of

On Feb 21, a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was found in Moss Beach.

On Feb 21, a 1st cycle and adult GLAUCOUS GULLS, plus a
SLATY-BACKED GULL were found among the gull flock at Venice State Beach
in Half Moon Bay. (Ron Thorn)

On Feb 20, (16) TUNDRA SWAN were seen at the north end of the
San Luis NWR. (1) blue morph ROSS'S GOOSE and a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL
