This is the Voice of Audubon for Monday, September 19.

A seawatch at Andrew's Point in Rockport on Saturday produced 2 GREATER
SCAUP, 38 SURF SCOTERS, 36 WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS, 10 BLACK
SCOTERS, 15 COMMON LOONS, 1 NORTHERN FULMAR, 510 GREATER
SHEARWATERS, 18 SOOTY SHEARWATERS, 20 MANX SHEARWATERS,
25 WILSON'S STORM-PETRELS, 41 NORTHERN GANNETS, 1 GREAT
CORMORANT, 4 PARASITIC JAEGERS, 10 LAUGHING GULLS, 6 BLACK-
LEGGED KITTIWAKES, 450 COMMON TERNS, and 2 ATLANTIC PUFFINS.

Weekend reports from the Newburyport/Plum Island area included 1 RED-
THROATED LOON, 1 HORNED GREBE, 2 GREATER SHEARWATERS, 2
SOOTY SHEARWATERS, 1 MANX SHEARWATER, 92 SNOWY EGRETS,
2 PEREGRINE FALCONS, 4 MERLINS, 3 SORAS, 6 AMERICAN GOLDEN-
PLOVERS, roughly 100 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, 1 BUFF-BREASTED
SANDPIPER, 6 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS, 1 BLACK-LEGGED KITTI-
WAKE, 1 CASPIAN TERN, 2 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOOS, 16 BROWN
THRASHERS, 1 CAPE MAY WARBLER, and 1 CONNECTICUT WARBLER.

Migrant raptors counted yesterday at Mt. Wachusett in Princeton included
23 OSPREYS, 2 BALD EAGLES, 3 NORTHERN HARRIERS, 6 SHARP-
SHINNED HAWKS, 2 COOPER'S HAWKS, 782 BROAD-WINGED HAWKS,
2 AMERICAN KESTRELS, and 2 MERLINS, and a similar effort at
Mt. Watatic in Ashburnham produced 13 OSPREYS, 2 BALD EAGLES, 23
SHARP-SHINNED HAWKS, 434 BROAD-WINGED HAWKS, 5 AMERICAN
KESTRELS, and 1 MERLIN.

Seen at the Great Meadows Refuge in Concord this morning were 1
AMERICAN BITTERN, 2 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS, 16
GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 2 NORTHERN HARRIERS, 2 MERLINS, 2
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS, 11 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, 16 AMERICAN
PIPITS, and 90 BOBOLINKS, in Framingham there were 4 PALM
WARBLERS, 1 CONNECTICUT WARBLER, 2 LINCOLN'S SPARROWS,
2 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, and 8 INDIGO BUNTINGS, and
miscellaneous reports from the weekend included a BLUE GROSBEAK in
Danvers, a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT at the Marblehead Neck Sanctuary,
an AMERICAN BITTERN, a GREAT EGRET, and 17 GREEN-WINGED
TEAL in Carlisle, a SWAINSON'S THRUSH and a CONNECTICUT WARBLER
in Belmont, another CONNECTICUT WARBLER in Post Office Square in Boston,
3 RED-NECKED GREBES in the Manomet section of Plymouth, an
AMERICAN BITTERN in Barnstable, and 2 AMERICAN GOLDEN-
PLOVERS and 3 BLACK TERNS at Nantucket.
