Highlights: GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, ALEUTIAN CACKLING GOOSE,
BLACK SCOTER, HARLEQUIN DUCK, MOUNTAIN PLOVER, BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE,
COMMON MURRE, EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE, YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER,
RED CROSSBILL.

San Mateo Co.

On Mar 3, one of the PALM WARBLER was still present in the vegetation
between the pond the backyards of the houses behind the Nob Hill Market
in Redwood Shores. On Mar 2, a sea watch from Pigeon Point reported
(13) ALEUTIAN CACKLING GOOSE, (2) HARLEQUIN DUCK, a BLACK SCOTER,
(4) BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, and (11,000) COMMON MURRE. (Ron Thorn)

On Mar 2, a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was near the marina at

On Mar 3, an adult male YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER was seen in the
overhanging cypress trees on the left hand corner of the brick house
with 1750 on it at the Lobos Creek parking lot in the Presidio.
This is across from Baker's Beach and entrance to the Presidio by way
of 25th Ave. Other birds heard were RED CROSSBILLS and EURASIAN COLLARED

On Feb 26, (426) MOUNTAIN PLOVERS (not Bluebirds) were in a cultivated
field at the junction of Ave 24 and Ave 80, just south of
Allenworth's State Historic Park. (Peter Metropulos)

On Feb 27, (60) MOUNTAIN PLOVERS (not Bluebirds) were in a cultivated
field at the junction of Ave 24 and Ave 80, just south of
