Highlights: RED-NECKED GREBE,BLACK-VENTED SHEARWATER, BLACK SCOTER,
PRAIRIE FALCON, GOLDEN EAGLE, POMARINE JAEGER, SLATY-BACKED GULL,
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, MARBLED MURRLET, RHINOCEROS AUKLET,
PIGEON GUILLEMOT, ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK, LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH.

Marin Co.

On Mar 18, the probable escapee BLACK-BELLIED WHITSLING DUCK
was seen 200 yards downstream from the green bridge, south
of Pt Reyes Station. A little research has a nearby Jack Long's
Aviary having lost a Black-bellied Whistling Duck within the last year.

Alameda Co.

On Mar 18, (7) LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH were at Livermore Sycamore Grove
Park. Enter Wetmore Rd. entrance take the black top trail to 1st
picnic tables on the right - in that small grove of Sycamores.
Also seen were (2) GOLDEN EAGLES and many YELLOW-BILLED MAGPIES.
A PRAIRIE FALCON was observed on the loop trail. (Rich Cimino)

San Mateo Co.

On Mar 17, (2) second cycle SLATY-BACKED GULL and a probable
1st cycle SLATY-BACKED GULL were seen at Venice State Beach in
Half Moon Bay. (Dan Singer)

On Mar 16, an eight hour seawatch reported (2) RED-NECKED GREBES,
a BLACK-VENTED SHEARWATER, a BLACK SCOTER, POMARINE JAEGER,
(122) BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, (8) MARBLED MURRLETS,
(130) RHINOCEROS AUKLETS, 92) PIGEON GUILLEMOTS and (3861) Surf Scoters.

On Mar 15, a male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK has been coming every day
since Feb 21, to the second floor feeder at 222 Virginia Ave in
Moss Beach. The bird can be viewed from the front and from Lake Street.

On Mar 17, the male and female WESTERN BLUEBIRDS were seen on the
hillside near the maintenance yard at Lobos Dunes in the Presidio.
