TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE.
Alameda Co.

On Mar 31, the TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was relocated on Greer Road, about
1/4 mile from the intersection with Calaveras Road as one drives toward
the Sunol Regional Wilderness. (Matthew and Kelly Dodder)
San Mateo Co.

On Apr 1, at Mussel Rock, there was a RED-NECKED GREBE, almost entirely
in breeding plumage, near the shore south of Mussel Rock itself. In the
surrounding waters, there were over two hundred SURF SCOTERS, amongst
which were five BLACK SCOTER (2 male, 3 female). Mussel Rock is at the
extreme northwest edge of Pacifica, at the end of Westline Road off
of Palmetto Drive. (Jennifer Rycenga)
On Mar 31, a fly-by first year GLAUCOUS GULL was seen from Pescadero
