San Mateo Co.

On Apr 16, a seawatch from Pigeon Point reported (208) WHIMBREL which one
was the Siberian subspecies of Whimbrel, (2) BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE,
(13706) PACIFIC LOON, (677) COMMON LOON, (750) BRANT, (5000) SURFBIRD,
(481) HERRING GULL, and a BANK SWALLOW. (Ron Thorn)

Contra Costa Co.

On Apr 15, a female CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was seen at the north end of
Jewel Lake in Tilden Regional Park. Other migrants seen were
YELLOW WARBLER, WARBLING VIREO, WILSON'S WARBLER and
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER. (Al DeMartini)

On Apr 16, a pair of COMMON MERGANSERS were seen 300-400 feet north of
the bridge along Camino Alto, between Sycamore Ave and Miller Ave in
