Feature Birds are:
Caspian Tern
Sunday April 22
2 Caspian Tern, along with 18 Brant were seen at Esquimalt Lagoon at the
east end of the peninsula on the beach, and there were reports of returning
Pacific-slope Flycatcher in the Victoria area
Saturday April 21
A Western Kingbird was reported on Mt Douglas, and was seen near the tower
at the top, also in that same area were 2 Townsend's Solitaire, 7
Townsend's Solitaire were on Observatory Hill, 8 Whimbrel were at the
Victoria Golf course with 1 Marbled Godwit amongst them.
Friday April 20
A Say's Phoebe was seen along Blenkinsop Rd near Lohbrunner Rd.
Thursday April 19
A first of the year MacGillivray's Warbler was heard and seen along
Stewart Mountain Rd which is off of Millstream Rd.
There have been reports during the week of Western and Least Sandpiper
at Wittys Lagoon.
