A SOUTH POLAR SKUA was observed at Carters Lake on Tuesday, 6/12. It was
first observed in the morning near the marina at Carters Lake and again
during the late afternoon and evening in the same vicinity. The bird has
been observed following boats, so may be ranging some distance on the lake.

A LEAST BITTERN was seen at a marsh along Hardings Bridge Rd., Bartow Co.,
on 6/9. A DICKCISSEL was heard down the road from the marsh.

BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLERS and several other species of warblers were
observed at Pine Log Mt. WMA, Bartow Co. on 69 as well.

A LIMPKIN has been reported from Bluff Lake in the southeast portion of Big
Hammock WMA, Tattnall Co. This area is best explored by canoe or kayak.

Three SWALLOW-TAILED KITES were observed foraging over a pine-oak forest
northeast of Tifton on 6/9.

The SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER continues along King Mill Rd., McDonough,
Henry Co.
Six WOOD STORKS were observed near the community of Oconee, Washington Co.,
on 6/8.

A DARK-EYED JUNCO was observed at a feeder in Glynn Co. on 6/10.
