A BRANT lingering at Legg Lake in South El Monte was reported through June
11.

Briefly seen from Pt. Vicente on June 9 was a BLUE-FOOTED BOOBY. Park at
the Fishing Access parking area. This is often a good place to watch for
pelagics close to shore.

An immature BALD EAGLE was at Chilao in the San Gabriel Mountains on June 9.
The bird was seen near the Visitor's Center.

Two HORNED PUFFINS were seen from Pacific Coast Highway at the LA/Ventura
County line on June 9. A SOUTH POLAR SKUA was also seen at this location
the same day.

A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was on private property in Long Beach on June
10-11.
