SHEARWATER, MANX SHEARWATER, WILSON'S STORM PETREL, BROWN PELICAN,
GREAT CORMORANT, NORTHERN GOSHAWK, AMERICAN AVOCET, RED KNOT,
PARASITIC JAEGER, LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, GULL-BILLED TERN, CASPIAN
TERN, SANDWICH TERN, ROSEATE TERN, BLACK TERN, RED-HEADED
WOODPECKER, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, WINTER WREN, HERMIT THRUSH,
MAGNOLIA WARBLER, BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER, WORM-EATING WARBLER,
HOODED WARBLER, YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, RED CROSSBILL and seasonal and
local reports of interest.

A NORTHERN GOSHAWK was observed at the Culver's Gap, north face June
15, while a BLACK TERN visited Culver's Lake June 18. A YELLOW-
BREASTED CHAT was noted at the Wallkill River NWR June 17.
.
Eighteen species of warblers were tallied in the Clinton Road area of
the Pequannock Watershed in West Milford June 17 including MAGNOLIA
WARBLER, BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER, WORM-EATING WARBLER, and HOODED
WARBLER, as well as a RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, and singing WINTER WREN
and HERMIT THRUSH.

Six RED KNOTS visited Sandy Hook at Spermaceti Cove June 14.
.
From a Bluefish boat 6 to 10 miles off Point Pleasant were reported
June 16: 6+ GREATER SHEARWATERS, a MANX SHEARWATER, 50+ WILSON'S
STORM-PETRELS, 12 BROWN PELICANS, and 1 or 2 ROSEATE TERNS.
.
Brendan Byrne (formerly Lebanon) State Forest was home to a RED-
HEADED WOODPECKER as well as a RED CROSSBILL along Shinns Road near
the maintenance yard June 18.
.
Three AMERICAN AVOCETS were present at Forsythe (Brigantine) National
Wildlife Refuge June 14 and 15, while a CASPIAN TERN was observed
June 15 and 20 GULL-BILLED TERNS June 16.
.
Cape May Point was home to between 2 and 5 WILSON'S STORM-PETRELS
June 14 to 20, as well as a BROWN PELICAN June 14, and 4 on June 17.
Other reports there include: a GREAT CORMORANT June17, a PARASITIC
JAEGER June 14, a GREATER SHEARWATER, a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL, two
GULL-BILLED TERNS, 3 SANDWICH TERNS and a LESSER-BLACK-BACKED GULL
all June 20.

Two RED KNOTS were still present at Stone Harbor Point June 18.
