Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

An immature male INDIGO BUNTING is now being seen at Baskett Slough NWR, an
ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER was there June 18, and a GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was
there June 20. On June 15 two GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES were at Hatfield Lake
near Bend.
Many WHIMBRELS are being seen along the coast. There were several reports of
COMMON NIGHTHAWKS over Portland during the week. RED-EYED VIREOS are now
back at their nesting sites, including Wappato Park on Sauvie Island and
Bristow Park east of Eugene.
On June 16 a BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER, a EURASIAN WIGEON, a GREATER YELLOWLEGS,
three LESSER YELLOWLEGS, and a PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER were at Ridgefield
NWR. A pair of EARED GREBES are nesting at Ridgefield this summer. On June
17 eleven SANDHILL CRANES were on Sauvie Island, another was at Fern Ridge
Reservoir June 11. On June 17 a DUSKY FLYCATCHER was at Mt. Tabor Park in
Portland. A GRAY FLYCATCHER was in Eugene June 16. An ASH-THROATED
FLYCATCHER was at Bristow Park east of Eugene June 20.
On June 11 a RING-NECKED DUCK and a pair of COMMON GOLDENEYES were on Carman
Reservoir on the upper McKenzie River. On June 11 a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was
on the east side of Lost Lake at Santiam Pass. On June 18 several JUNIPER
TITMOUSES were found in junipers north of Malin.
