Highlights: PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER, PECTORAL SANDPIPER,
NORTHERN SHRIKE (probable), LUCY'S WARBLER, BLACKPOLL WARBLER,
CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, TENNESSEE WARBLER, PRAIRIE WARBLER.

San Mateo Co.

On Sept 26, a BLACKPOLL WARBLER, CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, and
TENNESSEE WARBLER were found in the warbler flock along Gazos Creek
Road, 1.1 miles from Hwy 1. (Ed DeBellevue)

Sonoma Co.

On Sept 25, a pelagic trip from Bodega Bay, highlights included
(70) BLACK-FOOTED ALBATROSSES, (560) NORTHERN FULMAR,
(200) PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATER, (6) FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER,
(300) BULLER'S SHEARWATER, (80) SOOTY SHEARWATER,
(1-2) WILSON'S STORM-PETREL, (150) ASHY STORM-PETREL, (2) RED PHALAROPE,
(11) SOUTH POLAR SKUA, (5) POMARINE JAEGERS, (2) SABINE'S GULL,
(1) TUFTED PUFFIN, (180 COMMON MURRES, (90) CASSIN'S AUKLETS, AND
(200) RHINOCEROS AUKLETS. (Debbie Shearwater)

Mono Co.

On Sept 24, at the DeChambeau Ponds off of Mono Lake, there were
a female BLUE-WINGED TEAL, (4) CINNAMON TEAL and a NORTHERN SHOVELAR.

On Sept 22, a juvenile SABINE'S GULL was seen at Mono Lake (South Tufa)

Marin Co.

On Sept 26, there were (2) PARASITIC JAEGERS hunting over Richardson Bay.

On Sept 26, at Pt Reyes, Abbott's Lagoon, there were (3) PACIFIC GOLDEN
PLOVER 2/3 of the way down, 50 feet from the shoreline near some
driftwood. At the southeast corner, south central,
(4) PECTORAL SADNPIPERS were in the grass. On Sept 25, the Canada
Warbler was not found but a PILEATED WOODPECKER was seen near Sir
Franics Drake Blvd at the Historic "F" Ranch. Others found a
PRAIRIE WARBLER at the Lighthouse. A PRAIRIE WARBLER was seen
at the Northern Section District parking lot. (2) PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER
were seen 1/2 mile south of the North Beach turn-off on the east side of

Merced Co.

On Sept 26, a probable NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen at the northern edge of
the overgrown weedy pond at the Gustine Sewage Ponds. On the 23th,
(2) PURPLE MARTINS were seen (male and female type) here as well.
