Big Sur:
2 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLERS were reported from Andrew Molera State Park
today. A bird with a band on it was seen across the bridge from the
main parking lot and an unbanded bird was in the Alder grove below the
steps to the campground. A MAGNOLIA WARBLER was along the river just
upstream from the steps. [Mike Tyner]
On the 23rd, groups of 5 and 4 CALIFORNIA CONDOR were observed flying
low over Highway One near Grimes Creek offering great views. [Alan

Moss Landing:
On the 25th a MERLIN was seen along Jetty Road. [Alan Baldridge]
Pacific Grove:
A RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH was observed on Seaview Avenue on the 26th.

A TROPICAL KINGBIRD was seen at Crespi Pond this morning. It was
perching on the wires and in the reeds. A GREEN-WINGED TEAL was in the
back of the pond and a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was in the corporation yard.

At sunset today, a COMMON TERN, and a PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER were seen
flying by Point Pinos and the TROPICAL KINGBIRD was still present.
