Last Thursday in Pond D of the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine an
adult (molting) STILT SANDPIPER was observed, but could not be relocated on
subsequent days.

Last Saturday at Harbor View Nature Park a female-type SUMMER TANAGER,
possibly summering in the area, was observed. (Also a Western Tanager was
present).

Last Sunday in San Juan Creek in Dana Point, around the Stonehill Avenue
bridge, a juvenile BAIRD'S SANDPIPER was seen. It was reseen in the same
area this morning (Wed.)

REDDISH EGRETS continue to be reported in the County. Both were seen at low
tide last Saturday on the northern part of Bolsa Chica Preserve, and a
single individual was reported yesterday (Tuesday).

Today along Creek Trail in El Morro Canyon, a WHITE-WINGED DOVE was recorded
in the "second fenced-in area."
