Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was make Thursday November 10. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
at 503-233-3976.

On November 7 a BLUE JAY was along Peoria Road southeast of Corvallis.
Another is now being seen at the Albertsonšs Food Store in Central Point. A
subadult male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen November 3 at a Newport
feeder. On November 4 a probable LAYSAN ALBATROSS was seen off Boiler Bay.

A LARK SPARROW, a SWAMP SPARROW, and several WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS are now
coming to bird seen at Millicoma Marsh in Coos Bay.

On November 3 a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was at Smith/Bybee Lakes in North
Portland. At nearby Force Lake was a REDHEAD and 14 CANVASBACK. Six BARN
SWALLOWS and two RAVENS were at Smith/Bybee November 4. A flock of nine
BRANT was seen November 6 at Scoggins Valley Park south of Forest Grove. On
November 5 a SNOW BUNTING and two SHORT-EARED OWLS were two miles east of
Turner. That day a TREE SWALLOW was at Ankeny NWR. On November 5 a SURF
SCOTER and three EARED GREBES were at the Philomath Sewage Ponds. On
November 9 a GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCH was on top of Marys Peak.

On November 6 a RED FOX SPARROW, a WESTERN GULL, and 145 BONAPARTEšS GULLS
were at McNary Dam. At John Day Dam there were 65 BONAPARTEšS GULLS, and
below The Dalles Dam 185 WESTERN GREBES. On November a SURF SCOTER and 250
WESTERN GREBES were at Hood River. On November 7 a WHITE-WINGED SCOTER was
with the gulls and grebes off the mouth of Eagle Creek at Bonneville Dam.

Two SURF SCOTERS and three COMMON LOONS were seen November 6 off Moore Park
in Klamath Falls. Near Prineville November 6 a GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCH was
on Grizzly Mountain and 75 TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS were along McCabe Road.
