This is Dave DeReamus, for the Eastern PA Birdline, sponsored by the Lehigh
Valley Audubon Society, recorded on August 11th at 1:00 AM.
There will be a field trip to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in
Delaware on August 13th. Meet at the Tilghman Square Parking lot, near the
Red Robin Restaurant, just west of Route 309 at 7:00 AM. Trip leader will
be Peter Saenger.

Bald Eagles - 2 on 7/30.
Sightings from the FREEMANSBURG area, Northampton County included:
LITTLE BLUE HERONS - 1 on 8/8; 2 on 8/9 (reported along the Lehigh River
east of the Freemansburg parking lot).
Sightings from the SMITH GAP area, Northampton County included:
Blue-headed Vireo - 1 on 8/9.
Sightings from the PALMERTON area, Carbon County included:
Peregrine Falcon - 1 on 8/8.
Sightings from MAUCH CHUNK LAKE, Carbon County included:
ALDER FLYCATCHER - 1 on 8/4.
Sightings from the ALLENTOWN area, Lehigh County included:
Pied-billed Grebe - 1 on 8/8
PROTHONOTARY WARBLER - 1 back on 7/31 (along the Lehigh River).
